MEET BRITTANY WRIGHT, OD, MS
Dr. Brittany Wright grew up just outside of Chicago, IL. She received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Dr. Wright completed her Doctorate of Optometry degree at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN, graduating Cum Laude in 2015. While attending SCO, Dr. Wright served in several leadership roles in an array of optometric student organizations on both the local and national level, including Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society, Gold Key International Honor Society, National Optometric Student Association and the American Optometric Student Association. While in Memphis, she also enjoyed her time as a youth mentor with the Memphis Grizzlies TeamUP organization and volunteering in several vision screenings and remote area medical trips throughout the metropolitan area.
Dr. Wright gained experience in primary care, ocular disease management and contact lens fitting during rotations at The Eye Clinic at SCO, the Bond Wroten Eye Clinic in Louisiana and Jesse Brown VA Medical Center in Illinois. She continued her training by completing a residency at the Kansas City VA Medical Center in Ocular Disease and Low Vision Rehabilitation. Here she gained significant experience in the full spectrum of eye health and vision care management.
Dr. Wright relocated to the Denver area with her husband, Chris, as he accepted a position with Colorado State University Athletics. The two have enjoyed exploring Colorado and all of the outdoor adventures along the front range. They also enjoy attending collegiate and professional sporting events across the country!
