Dr. Maleeka Bokhari and Dr. Nate Pecha provide comprehensive, personalized care ranging from routine eye exams, contact lenses, and diabetic eye care to dry eye evaluations and the detection and monitoring of conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and other ocular diseases. Meet Your Doctors
Maleeka Bokhari, OD

Maleeka Bokhari is an optometrist with advanced training in ocular disease and a passion for providing thoughtful, patient-centered eye care. Originally from Toledo, Ohio, she earned her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience from The Ohio State University before receiving her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry.
Following optometry school, Dr. Bokhari completed a residency in ocular disease at Insight Vision Group, where she gained advanced experience in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of eye conditions. Her background in neuroscience and specialized residency training have shaped her comprehensive approach to eye care and her commitment to helping patients understand and actively participate in their eye health. Dr. Bokhari values building meaningful relationships with her patients and believes in providing care that is both personalized and collaborative. She strives to ensure her patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their treatment and long-term eye health. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Bokhari enjoys exploring all that Colorado has to offer. She loves hiking—especially when the destination is a beautiful alpine lake—as well as discovering new restaurants and trying cuisines from around the world. At home, she enjoys spending time with her cat, Luigi. |
Nate Pecha, OD

Dr. Nate Pecha started his full-time college education at 16 years old and earned an associate degree before pursuing his undergraduate degree in Biology from Illinois State University. He received his Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry and moved from Illinois to Colorado after completing an intensive internship program at Insight Vision Group.
Dr. Pecha eventually joined Insight Vision Group, where his exceptional patient education skills help provide pre- and post-surgical patients with knowledgeable, calming care. He provides cataract management, intraocular lens selection, refractive consultations, and dry eye treatments. He is continually eager to learn about new technologies emerging in the field and also serves as an adjunct professor for doctorate students at the Illinois College of Optometry. Outside of patient care, Dr. Pecha enjoys trying new restaurants, exploring the outdoors, attending live music events, and traveling. He has visited many countries around the globe. |
